Welcome to the Ellough Park karting leagues. Whether you're introducing your child to motorsport or seeking your own high-speed thrills, we offer structured racing programs for every skill level. Our carefully designed league system creates clear pathways for progression, from complete beginners to seasoned racers. With separate programs tailored for youth (ages 8-15) and adults (16+), each driver can develop at their own pace while experiencing the excitement of competitive racing. Entry level karting event designed to introduce 8 to 15 year olds to the sport and learn the basics of kart control and racing. The event will be split into two categories, Cadets: Drivers 137cm to around 145cm (Race Director’s discretion will be used to safely allocate drivers to the correctly sized karts) and Juniors: 145cm+.
Once Junior drivers have demonstrated the standards required, they will be promoted into the Junior Rookie League. Trophies will be presented to the top three in the final of each class at the end of the event.
Two events will take place each month on a Friday with 1 overflow on a Thursday. Drivers are able to take part in one of the three races each month, with points going towards an overall championship.
Drivers must be at least 8 years of age and 137cm tall to take part, spaces must be booked in advance with a £10pp deposit placed, max 13 Jr spaces and 5 cadet spaces will be available in each category (max 16 in any event). It is recommended that the driver is measured and sized into one of our karts to avoid disappointment before their first race. Drivers not at the venue prior to the commencement of the briefing will not be able to participate in the event and their deposit lost unless prior approval is granted from the management team.
The second tier of our junior karting ladder, designed for drivers aged 8 to 15 who are at least 145cm tall to continue to develop their skills and race craft (minimum height is at the Race Director’s discretion to ensue driver safely fits into the karts used).
Once drivers have demonstrated the standards required, they will be promoted into the Junior Pro League. Trophies will be presented to the top three in the final of each class at the end of the event and all drivers will receive championship points with trophies being presented for this at the end of the year. Two events will take place each month, drivers are able to take part in one of the two dates each month with points going towards an overall championship.
Drivers must be at least 8 years of age and 145cm tall to take part, only drivers promoted from Kids Club Junior or who have passed an assessment are permitted to enter. Spaces must be booked in advance with a £10pp deposit placed, only 10 spaces will be available for each event. It is recommended that the driver is measured and sized into one of our karts to avoid disappointment before their first race. Drivers not at the venue prior to the commencement of the briefing will not be able to participate in the event and their deposit lost unless prior approval is granted from the management team. Championship points are awarded for each race with the lowest two rounds dropped for each driver.
The highest tier of our junior karting ladder, for drivers aged 11 to 15 who are at least 145cm tall, these drivers have demonstrated a high level of ability behind the wheel and race in the Senior Karts on the extended circuit.
Trophies will be presented to the top three in the final of each round at the end of the event and all drivers will receive championship points with trophies being presented for this at the end of the year. Drivers must have been promoted into this league.
Drivers must be at least 11 years of age and 145cm tall to take part, only drivers promoted from the Junior Rookie League or who have passed an assessment are permitted to enter. Spaces must be booked in advance with a £10pp deposit placed. Drivers not at the venue prior to the commencement of the briefing will not be able to participate in the event and their deposit lost unless prior approval is granted from the management team. Championship points are awarded for each race with the lowest two rounds dropped for each driver.
Entry level racing for drivers aged 16 and above using the Grand Prix Format, can be entered as a one off, as and when you fancy a race or compete for the Championship.
The top three drivers on each race night will receive trophies at the podium presentation and all drivers will receive championship points.
Drivers who demonstrate the required skill level will gain promotion to the Pro Leagues.
Drivers must be at least 16 years of age to take part, championship trophies will be awarded at presentation night at the end of the season. Spaces for each round must be booked in advance with a £10pp deposit placed. Drivers not at the venue prior to the commencement of the briefing will not be able to participate in the event and their deposit lost unless prior approval is granted from the management team. Championship points are awarded for each race with the lowest two rounds dropped for each driver. Drivers promoted at managements discretion, once a Pro Level Driver you are no longer able to race Open Level events unless stated otherwise.
High level racing for drivers aged 16 and above who have either been promoted from open categories or passed assessment. Events can be entered on a casual basis or compete for the championship. Pro level events also run a heavy category for drivers weighing 85kg or more.
Trophies presented at the end of the event for the top three drivers in each category and all drivers awarded with points for their respective championship.
Drivers must be at least 16 years of age and have been promoted or passed assessment to take part, championship trophies will be awarded at presentation night at the end of the season. Spaces for each round must be booked in advance with a £10pp deposit placed. Drivers not at the venue prior to the commencement of the briefing will not be able to participate in the event and their deposit lost unless prior approval is granted from the management team. Championship points are awarded for each race with the lowest two rounds dropped for each driver. Drivers in the heavy category are only permitted to weight up if they naturally weighed 85kg or more at the weigh in before their first race of the year. Both categories will be on track separately unless maximum event entries prevent this.
